Privacy Policy

Out Of Office Hour ("OOOH Club", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. What We Collect

• Application data: name, email, work email, phone number, birthdate, gender, country of origin, occupation, interests, availability, profile photo, and optional Instagram and LinkedIn handles.
• Activity data: events attended, tickets, RSVPs, connections made, posts on club boards, credits and points earned, and feedback you submit.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe, we never see or store your card details.
• Event media: photos and video taken at Club events, which may include your image (see the media release in our Terms).

2. Why We Collect It (Purposes)

• To assess your application and curate the Club community, including a one-time verification of your work email.
• To run events: ticketing, door check-in, guest lists, and safety.
• To operate member features: your Digital ID, directory, connections, leaderboards, credits, and rewards.
• To send you service communications (login codes, ticket confirmations, event reminders, club announcements).
• To promote the Club using event photography and footage.

3. Consent

By submitting an application you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes above. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us, noting that withdrawing consent for essential purposes (such as identity and ticketing data) means we can no longer provide membership services.

4. What Other Members See

Your profile visibility is tiered by design. All members may see your name, photo, and country of origin on event guest lists. Contact details (Instagram, phone) are visible only to higher membership tiers with directory access, and contact information you explicitly share through the Club's connection feature goes only to the member you chose to share it with. Your email address is never displayed to other members. Privacy toggles in your profile let you limit visibility of your Instagram and phone number, subject to the tier-visibility rules shown alongside those settings.

5. Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, Supabase (database & authentication), Stripe (payments), Fly.io (hosting), and our email delivery provider, and where required by law. Some providers store data outside Singapore; we ensure they provide a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

6. Retention & Security

We retain personal data for as long as you hold a membership and as needed for legal and operational purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time. Data is protected with encryption in transit, row-level security at the database layer, and strict tier-based access controls in the application.

7. Your Rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, or request deletion. Most profile data can be edited directly in the app. For anything else, contact our Data Protection Officer:
